Kila tarehe 8 Machi ya kila mwaka Tanzania inaungana na nchi nyingine wanachama wa Umoja wa Mataifa kuadhimisha siku ya Wanawake Duniani. Kauli mbiu ya mwaka huu, 2016 ni "50  50 ifikapo 2030; Tuongeze jitihada". Kauli mbiu hii inasisitiza kuwa na mikakati madhubuti yenye mwelekeo wa kufikia asilimia 50 kwa 50 ya ushiriki wa wanawake na wasichana katika nyanja zote za maendeleo.

Kwa kutambua hili, Wakala ya Mafunzo kwa Njia ya Mtandao imebuni mafunzo mbalimbali ili kuwajengea wanawake uwezo katika maeneo ya kiuongozi na kiutawala. Kuna mafunzo maalumu kwa ajili ya wanawake mfano; "Transformational Leadership for Women Empowerment" na "Advanced Transformational Leadership for Women Empowerment". Mafunzo mengine ya masuala ya kijinsia ni pamoja na "Gender Based Mainstreaming Workshop".

Wakala pia ina programu mbalimbali katika nyanja nyingine kama manunuzi, TEHAMA, Ugavi na Manunuzi, Usimamizi Rasilimali Watu, n.k. Tembelea tovuti yetu kuweza kujionea programu hizi na huduma nyingine zitolewazo na Wakala.

Baadhi wa maofisa wa ngazi mbalimbali kutoka Tume ya Uchaguzi Tanzania (NEC) wameanza mafunzo ya siku 5 ya uandishi na uwasilishaji wa ripoti (Effective Report Writing and Presentation Skills). Mafunzo haya maalum yameandaliwa na TaGLA kwa maofisa hao.

 

 

Waziri wa Nchi Ofisi ya Rais, Utumishi na Utawala Bora  Mh.Anjela Kairuki (MB), ametembelea Wakala ya Mafunzo kwa Njia ya Mtandao ili kujionea kazi za Wakala. Katika ziara hio Waziri Kairuki alipata fursa ya kujionea miuondo mbinu ya wakala, kushiriki katika mkutano wa video na wadau kutoka nchini Kenya, na kisha kuzungumza na wafanyakazi wa Wakala.

Waziri amewaasa wafanyakazi kufanya kazi kwa bidii na kwa uadilifu ikizingitiwa kuwa Wakala ipo chini ya Ofisi ya Rais.

Mr. Charles Senkondo, Executive Director Tanzania Global Learning Agency (TaGLA) chairing one of the sessions during the Seventh Ministerial Round Table (MRT) on "Affordable and Equitable Broadband Access for Transformative Learning" at eLearning Africa International conference in Kampala, Uganda. The meeting was attended by Ministers, Deputy Ministers and ministerial representatives of Basic and Higher Education, ICT, Finance, Foreign Affairs, Post, Telecommunications and ICT.

The Executive Director of TaGLA, Mr. Charles Senkondo (with spectacle) and Mr. Alex Mville during the 13th session of the UN Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) that is convening at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 7 to 11 April. The newly appointed twenty-four CEPA members are holding discussions on the theme of transforming public administration for sustainable development.
