Executive and Administrative Assistants Skills Development
The success of every executive depends on the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the executive assistant under him/her. Behind every successful executive there is an effective and efficient executive assistant – someone who is good and skilled enough to keep the boss organized, on time and on track. During this course/seminar, participants will learn how to run the modern office and stay in control, no matter how hectic the day gets. Further, they will learn how to build personal credibility with the boss and other people, deal with difficult people, learn to say ‘no’ without closing doors, manage their time and personal stress effectively, improve their interpersonal skills, human relations, problem-solving, decision making, telephone etiquette skills, etc. Skills practice exercises, interactive participation, discussions, group activities, role-plays, PowerPoint presentations, etc. will be used to impart the required competences.
COURSE OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES
At the end of this program participants will understand what it takes beyond technical skills to be a first-rate executive assistant. Participants will demonstrate capacity for increased productivity, improved human relations, communication and interpersonal skills, stronger problem- solving, decision-making, stress and time management techniques, organizing office meetings and events, and the ability to take on more responsibilities.
The seminar will be conducted via PowerPoint presentations, analyses of short case studies, discussion and writing action plan exercises.
This course is suitable for people who serve as personal assistants executive assistant, administrative assistants, office assistants, secretaries, telephone operators and all those whose job descriptions requires them to assist executives of organizations.
